Medical Services Offered
The Rural Parish Clinic provides the following medical services at no cost to eligible patients. All care is delivered by licensed volunteer medical professionals. Services are limited to those listed below.
We are not a hospital or emergency care facility. For life-threatening emergencies, please call 911.
- Acute Care
Cold, flu, infections, minor injuries - Preventative Care
Annual physicals for men and women - Chronic Disease Management
Heart, pulmonary, diabetes, thyroid - Gynecological Care
Abnormal menstruation, pregnancy testing, ultrasound - Gastrointestinal
Gastritis, irritable bowel, chronic bowel symptoms - Musculoskeletal
Arthritis, chronic musculoskeletal symptoms - Psychiatric
Anxiety, depression - Dermatology
Skin assessment, wound care - Social Services
Assessments and increased access to resources
Who We Serve
Our clinic is open to adults who meet all three of the following criteria. Eligibility is verified at each visit. If you are unsure whether you qualify, please contact us before your appointment—we are happy to help.
- No Healthcare Insurance
- Individuals must currently be uninsured. Those with Medicaid, Medicare, or any private insurance do not qualify. If your insurance is pending or lapsed, we can offer bridge care until a new healthcare provider is established.
- Ages 19 to 64
- We are unable to serve patients under 19 or over 64 at this time.
- Household Income at or Below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level
- Please see the chart below for current guidelines. If you are unsure whether you qualify, please contact us. Proof of income may be requested at any time.
About Our Mobile Medical Clinic
The Rural Parish Clinic medical clinic rotates to different locations every Monday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday clinics are currently available in certain locations. The counties served include: Franklin, Jefferson, St. Francois, Warren, and Washington.
Dates and locations are subject to change. Please confirm your appointment location when scheduling.
